LSU v. Florida

November 19, 2016. This day I was so excited to see my favorite team play, the LSU fighting tigers. LSU sadly lost this day to Florida in a heartbreak whenever Derrius Guice ran the wrong way and got stopped on the one yard line and lost the game. However LSU was hoping to get revenge after their horrific lost last year on Saturday. LSU traveled down to Gainesville, Florida to play Florida in the Swamp. I went to my friend's house to watch this game.

When I got to his house it was still a tied game. Until halftime, LSU was up 10-3. The game got a lot better in the second half when Florida went on a 13-7 point run to have the game at 17-16 going into the fourth quarter. I was really nervous because I did not want LSU to lose a close game again. I was really happy though when LSU made  the stop and won the game 17-16 and beat Florida and got revenge.

Story in the Summer Week Two

I was at my house with my friend Ben. Ben and I decided to go outside and play basketball. We decided to play horse. It was a close game but I beat Ben in the game even though Ben is a lot better then me at basketball. Ben was really angry because I won by making a shot that I probably I would never make again.  Ben and I then decided to play a one on one game to twenty-one. I went up twelve to four then Ben started to make a comeback and had the game within four points. I then hit a three in which put me up on Ben fifteen to eight. I eventually one the game twenty-one to seventeen. I was happy because I usually never beat Ben in basketball because he has played it a lot longer then I did.

Hurricane Katrina

On August 23, 2005 Hurricane Katrina formed over the Bahamas. Meteorologists were able to warn people and the evacuations started by the 28th of August. New Orleans was at risk with the city average elevation being six feet below sea level and being surrounded with water. The mayor of New Orleans Ray Nagin issued a mandatory city evacuation. Mayor Ray Nagin also said that the Superdome would server a last resort for people who couldn't leave the city. In the morning of August 29, the storm hit and left about 9 meters of rain. By 9 am, low lying places like the Ninth Ward and St. Bernard Parish were under water. Nearly 80% of the city had taken in some type of water. The Coast Guard rescued 34,000 people. This storm was one of the worst the world has seen and left many people without homes. Link to article
