Research Update

My research question is Why did the Vikings get such a brutal reputation when Europe was just as violent? This research question is very interesting to me, so I try and find the most reliable which has been easy most of the time because of the ways I learned in class. Another pretty easy things has been understanding the sources because I thought some of the primary sources were going to be challenging to read but they were not.
A challenging part of the research paper has been deciding my subquestions for the notecards. This was challenging for me because I had trouble from choosing which subquestions would be a good fit with my main question. Also creating the notecards have been challenging since I have not been at school and had the help of the teachers and my fellow classmates. The annotated bibliography was challenging but I am happy that I got through it without any major problems.

Story in the Summer Week Two

I was at my house with my friend Ben. Ben and I decided to go outside and play basketball. We decided to play horse. It was a close game but I beat Ben in the game even though Ben is a lot better then me at basketball. Ben was really angry because I won by making a shot that I probably I would never make again.  Ben and I then decided to play a one on one game to twenty-one. I went up twelve to four then Ben started to make a comeback and had the game within four points. I then hit a three in which put me up on Ben fifteen to eight. I eventually one the game twenty-one to seventeen. I was happy because I usually never beat Ben in basketball because he has played it a lot longer then I did.

LOTF Response

[Piggy:] "I don't agree with all Jack said, but with some.  'Course there isn't a beast in the forest.  How could there be?  What would a beast eat?" "Pig." "We eat pig." "Piggy!" "I got the conch!" said Piggy indignantly.  "Ralph--they ought to shut up, oughtn't they?  You shut up, you littluns!  What I mean is that I don't agree about this here fear.  Of course there isn't nothing to be afraid of in the forest.  Why--I been there myself!  You'll be talking about ghosts and such things next.  We know what goes on and if there's something wrong, there's someone to put it right." He took off his glasses and blinked at them.  The sun had gone as if the light had been turned off. [...] "Life," said Piggy expansively, "is scientific, that's what it is.  In a year or two when the war's over they'll be traveling to Mars and back.  I know there isn't no beast--not wit...
