US sanctions on Russia

Trump and the US just sanctioned Russia to target Russian oligarchs that are tied to Putin. The sanctions are because of few events: these events were the poisoning of a Russian spy in England, the Russians tampering with the elections, and the biggest cyber attack in history. Trump credits himself as being the toughest president on Russia because of the tough sanctions he has placed on Russia. The US is planning on targeting successful businessmen and political figures that have close ties with Vladimir Putin.

The US is also urging is close and strong allies to take the same steps they are taking and to have strong sanctions on Russia. The US expelled 60 Russian spies and diplomats in response to the death of the Russian spy in England. Trump's administration wanted to hold a news conference but eventually decided not to. Trump's administration is still pressured from Russian hawks to take more sanctions on Russia. I agree that these sanctions are needed in the battle with Russia and the unjust practices of Vladimir Putin and the Russian government. With Trump putting these sanctions on Russia could lead them to a possible war though. If a war does break out it could be detrimental to everyone in the world. I do not believe the sanctions will lead to a war because Russia and the US and have been putting sanctions on each other for years. I hope theses sanctions push Russia into changing and stop the corruption.

LOTF Response

[Piggy:] "I don't agree with all Jack said, but with some.  'Course there isn't a beast in the forest.  How could there be?  What would a beast eat?" "Pig." "We eat pig." "Piggy!" "I got the conch!" said Piggy indignantly.  "Ralph--they ought to shut up, oughtn't they?  You shut up, you littluns!  What I mean is that I don't agree about this here fear.  Of course there isn't nothing to be afraid of in the forest.  Why--I been there myself!  You'll be talking about ghosts and such things next.  We know what goes on and if there's something wrong, there's someone to put it right." He took off his glasses and blinked at them.  The sun had gone as if the light had been turned off. [...] "Life," said Piggy expansively, "is scientific, that's what it is.  In a year or two when the war's over they'll be traveling to Mars and back.  I know there isn't no beast--not wit...

Strengths and Challenges

One of my strengths is that I can make personal connections within my writing. This strength helped me in my personal narrative and connect my life. Another strength of mine is being able to write short response to a topic. This strength helps me in other classes besides English because I use this strength in history.       One of my challenges is that I am awful with grammar. I tried to fix this challenge over the year and it improved a little bit, but I still had to practice on it and use Grammarly a lot. Another challenge of mine was researching a topic then writing about it. I really had trouble with the research project because of this challenge

Free Post- Shaquem Griffin

Shaquem Griffin has had a bunch of buzz around his name every since is outstanding performance in the NFL Combine this year. Griffin ran a 4.38 forty-yard dash, which was the fast forty-yard dash time for a linebacker. Griffin did a twenty repetitions of a 225 pound weight. Shaquem also did great in the drills were you show off you skills in your actual position. People were really surprised when Griffin did all of these great things at the combine because he had to have his arm amputated at the age of four.      Griffin showed everyone that if you really shrive for something that you can do it. Griffin's performance at the combine is very inspiring because it showed me that if you work hard at anything it can happens. You just have to try your hardest at practice and never give up on your dreams and anything can happen.
